WPCTE Honorable Mention Recipients

Congratulations to Honors Language Arts 10 students Chloe Norton, Jesslyn Strayer, and Lucia Yuhas for writing winning flash fiction pieces in The Western Pennsylvania Council for Teachers of English (WPCTE) 2023 Flash Fiction Contest! Chloe Norton won an Honorable Mention for her piece titled Fourteen Years.  Jesslyn Strayer won an Honorable Mention for her piece titled The Pumpkin Giver.  Lucis Yuhas won an Honorable Mention for her piece titled A Murder of Crows. A Virtual Awards Ceremony will take place on Google Meet on Wednesday, January 10 at 7:00pm. WPCTE will award virtual certificates to all winners and invite Grand Prize winners to read their entire story and Honorable Mention winners to read an excerpt or provide a summary of their writing.
